Melaleuca calothamnoides is a shrub growing 1 m to 4 m tall. The leaves are narrow and grow about 1 cm to 2 cm long and up to 1 mm wide. The plant flowers in winter and spring from July to October. I grows in heath and woodland and is found in a small area between Geraldton and Shark Bay on the west coast of Western Australia. It belongs to the Myrtaceae family.
